HopSync Technologies LLC ("Wayve," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Wayve mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and the website at wayvesim.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email address — required to deliver your eSIM activation details, order confirmations, and account access via magic link
- Name — optional, used for personalization and payment receipts
- Payment information — card details are processed securely by VendaPay (our payment processor) and are never stored on our servers
Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — device model, operating system version, and eSIM compatibility status
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, purchase history, and data consumption metrics
- IP address — for fraud prevention and approximate location
- Cookies — we use essential cookies for session management and optional cookies for analytics
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location data
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or files
- We do not record phone calls or messages
- We do not collect biometric data
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver, activate, and manage your eSIM data plans
- To process payments and issue refunds
- To send order confirmations, activation instructions, and service updates
- To provide customer support
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To improve our Service through anonymized analytics
- To send promotional communications (only with your consent; you can opt out at any time)
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to deliver our product:
- Celitech — our eSIM infrastructure provider, to provision and manage your eSIM profile
- VendaPay / PowerTranz — to process card payments with 3D Secure authentication
- Email service providers — to deliver transactional emails (activation, receipts, magic links)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Security
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL
- Payment processing uses 3D Secure (3DS) authentication for every transaction
- Card details are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors — we never store card data
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only
- We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed
5. Data Retention
- Account and purchase records are retained for as long as necessary to provide support and comply with legal obligations
- Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
- You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Section 7)
- Upon deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

Account Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data by emailing privacy@wayvesim.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days. Note that active eSIM plans will continue to function until their expiry date, but your account data will be anonymized.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the additional right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
